What Is The Cause For Pain In The Right Rib Cage When I Breath Heavily?

Hi i have a cold for three days and tonight after my dinner my right rib cage hurt when i breathed heavily i would like to know how i could deal with this because it went away after about 30 minutes of laying down. Some people said that my chest is congested but im really not that sure please help me thanks.

Hello,

What I feel with the history that, there will be nothing but the congestion in the chest. If you get the same incidence of pain again please do think other wise and get a physician opinion. Because usually with chest congestion people almost give once in a while similar complain and making then under diagnostic procedures is not good all times. Still, for your safety and peace of mind, you can opt for one x-ray which can reveal the clear picture of the lungs.

For chest congestion please use some steam therapy and do a regular breathing exercise.
