What Is The Cause For Blood In Urine Analysis? WBC, RBC And Epithelial Cells Also Found
Hi i m marian carbajosa,27yrs. old.Last week I took in a medical process in urinalysis ,CBC etc. for my pre employment. But it was unfortunately, there is a blood found in my urine . The clinic will suggest to repeat my urinalysis and forward the result my email. I want to know my result eventhough I m not consult to other doctor. How did I know that it is clear in blood findings? To what category did this blood findings show in result? here are the result of my urinalysis lab. color:light yellow,glucose:negative,protein:negative,reaction:7,sp.gravity:1.010,WBC:2-4,RBC:1-3,Epithelial cells:few and mucus threads:occasional.Please help me. thanks so much.

NOW THERE ARE LOTS OF REASON OF BLOOD IN URINE-LIKE TAKING ASPIRIN GROUP OF DRUG,UTI,GLOMERULONEPHRITIS,TUMOR IN ANY GENITOURINARY STRUCTURE LIKE KIDNEY,BLADDER ETC,STONE IN KIDNEY,URETER,BLADDER,TRAUMA, HEMORRHAGIC DISORDER ETC.SO PLEASE DON'T IGNORE BLOOD IN URINE.DO A URGENT USG WHOLE ABDOMEN,ROUTINE BLOOD INVESTIGATION WITH PLATELET COUNT AND BLEEDING AND CLOTTING TIME,REPEAT URINE INVESTIGATION AND IF NEED THEN A CYSTOSCOPY TO LOCALIZE THE BLEEDING POINT.STOP IF YOU TAKE ANY DRUGS OF ASPIRIN GROUP AND CONSULT A UROSURGEON OR NEPHROLOGIST URGENTLY WITH REPORTS.

Hi Marian,
Blood in the urine can be microscopic Hematuria and gross Hematuria.
I see that in your report there is no mention of gross hematuria. However, microscopy shows 1-3 RBCs. This is a normal finding.
I do not see any reason as to why it should cause a problem to you in the employment process.
You may repeat the urinalysis. But, yet again a RBC count of 1-3 should not come in the way and it is regarded as normal finding.
