What Is The Cause And Treatment For Respiratory Tract Infection?

My daughter (17) is on day 5 of feeling bad. Started out with what seemed like a head cold....stuffy, slightly sore throat, cough. Progressively gotten worse....currently running a very low grade fever, nausea, has been having some diarrhea, slightly sore throat, very stuffy, congested, body aches and pains, and today a new symptom, her calves are terribly sore. In fact when she stood first thing this morning, she fell to the floor they hurt so much. She has been scooting or crawling to get to the restroom, but mostly only been able to lay in bed all day. Not sure this is some common ailment, or if I should take her to see a doctor.

Give her Ibuprofen, paracetamol combination medicine as needed.
