What Is The Cause And Treatment For Coronary Artery Disease?

i have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease. I am 59 and presently have 4 stents. I am morbidly obese and i struggle with eatting. can i go on dr.atkins diet? My total cholesterol is 164 , I have high blood pressure and diabetes 2- my A1C is 5.8. I have no energy, I sleep alot and I haave lost my desire t do Anything. Can you sir please help me? Hi Susan. Good day to you. Since you have a case of CAD and all these other problems, that itself could be a direct cause of your decreased energy levels. But you could also be suffering from depression. Please consult a psychiatrist and let yourself be assessed for depression since it has been known to occur in some CAD patients. If depression is identified as the cause of your symptoms, then anidepressant medications will surely help you get more out of life and be more energetic and lively. Take care. Hope this helps a lot.
