What Is The Cause And Treatment For Ankle Pain?
I went to see my doctor about the pain in my ankle, she took x-rays and it is not broken just a sprain but now its throbbing and it throbs while I m elevating it. Do you think I should set up another apt with my doctor or should I wait awhile and see if it heals? I know sprains take a long time to heal as this is my 3rd sprained ankle. Thanks, Kelly

if the pain is throbbing with fever it is cellulitis or getting infected, take a course of antibiotics and NSAID's under Dr. guidance. use anklet keep foot raised, don't owner your leg. needs absolute rest
