What Is The Cause And Remedy For Rashes, Blisters On Thighs?

We are just returning from San Pedro in Belize. My daughter (8) has a red rash on her upper thigh. One part has a blister/boil (clear). She is exhibiting no symptoms and the rash does not hurt. She did go snorkeling and spent time in the salt water pool at the hotel (which was one of the better hotels there). What could it be caused by and what should I do?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the rash is a reaction to some agent that came into contact with her skin in that area.

It would be best for her to visit her doctor for an assessment.

He or she may suggest a topical steroid cream to apply to the area.

I hope this helps
