Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
You have not mentioned which medicines you have tried and to which medicines you are having reactions.
If you are a patient of high cholesterol, then you should start with diet changes along with exercise. Your should take a diet rich in dietary fibers, fruits with good amount of protein. You should have least amount of animal fats (like cheese, butter, cream) & veg fat as less as possible. Avoid sugary foods. Also start aerobic exercise like brisk walking, running, swimming, cycling, etc.
You get rechecked after 3 months. If there is no improvement then you should start with medical treatment with Statin group (like atorvastatin, simvastatin) of drugs.
Hope this will be helpful.
Thanks for your question. Take care.
