Hi I am 21 weeks pregnant with my first baby at the age of 27 years. I had bleeding during my first trimester that went on for about a month in January. Since then I am on complete bed rest. Things got a little better in February but again in March my gynae told me that my fluid ranges between 7-8 cm which is very less. She also pointed the growth retardation of the fetus. Also she told me I have 50% chances of abortion and the baby might be born with mental amomilities. She asked me to wait for another week or two and then take a call on whether or not the baby shoul be given birth. I am confused and dont want to give birth to a mentally retarded child. Pls help.
