What Is The Best Medicine For Knee Pain And Hip Pain?
I was taken off of Bonivia about 3 months ago by my doctor after being on it for 7 years. I started having hip pain and knee pain and the pain has gradually increased as time has gone on. I m an active 62 year old woman The pain wakes me up at night. is this normal when taken off this medicine.

Bonivia used to treat the osteoporosis in menopause and not for pain.
Underlying cause of knee pain is matter of concern.
Pain is not due to the medicine taken off.
Advise:
Do not bend (Flexion) of knee joint beyond 90 degree
MRI could reveal something
Avoid standing for long time
Blood sugar need to be done to rule out diabetes
Medication:
Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day
Take care, have a nice day
