What Is The Best Medication For Thyroid Cancer?

hi good morning ...my friend ,she is 25years old female she was diagnosed as thyroid cancer and she was undergone total thyroidectomy on 21/11/2011.total body scan done after one month the result showsthat cancer cells still remaining and she was taken 100mu of radio iodin therapy .they told after 6month again total body scan and will deside treatment.i would like to know its recovery chances ?and what will do for better treatment?

I have gone carefully through your query and i can understand your concern.
In general thyroglobuline level is an important marker for the outcome of the thyroid cancer.
If the thyroglobuline is high and the whole body scan shows still remaining thyroidal cells, than treatment with radio iodine therapy is recommended.
Radio iodine is a very good therapy for some types of the thyroidal cancer and the recovery chances are very high.
You can attach the results for a more specific answer.
