What Is The Best Garment When Working Under Extreme Solar Radiation?
My son works in the heat outside every day and wears 100% polyester shirts. He ends up every afternoon with like a heat rash on his back and arms. He also has like pigmentation like spots all over his back. should he change his work shirts to 100% cotton or could it be the laundry detergent reacting when the shirt heats up on his body in the sun

I agree with you, your son has to wear the cotton shirt instead of polyester one, moreover ask him to have water in-between to avoid the heat stroke or dehydration, hope this information helps you have good time.
