General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Average weight which needs to be achieved by 6 months in a girl baby is 6.2 Kgs with a height of 63.7 cms.
Hence, your baby's weight seems to be alright and is nothing much to worry about.
Exclusive breast feeding is recommended. However, top feeds can be started according to the needs, if the breast milk is insufficient.
Weaning can be started anytime after 6 months gradually.
Take care of cleanliness of the objects which are used for feeding.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
