Hello, I m a disabled vet and have been prescribed Tamsulosin HCL0.4mg and Viagra, 30mg. there is a caution re: low blood pressure-should I be concerned? Are there other alternatives I can recommend to my primary Dr? FYI I was on Allopurinol 300mg for years to prevent/minimize uric acid kidneystones but developed a rash (hives) and then switched to Tamsulosin.

Hi, If your blood pressure is OK now and you experience symptomatic relief with tamsulosin, just continue with it. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
