my mother is suffering from diebeties since last 15 years and was taking Jalra and glycomet . but since last 3-4 months she is also having lever problem . now doctor says his lever is damage due to diabetic medicines and should be given insulin injections . we dont want to give injections , please advice
Dear sir I can understand your concern. Most of toxins and most drugs will be neutralised in our liver. In liver problems if take any medicine that is metabolized in liver that Will turn in to poison. Y r u so scary about insulin. If taking injection is the problem use novo pen which will have very very small needle. Good news is we are working on some thing called oral insulin which may come to market by next year. For now you should go for insulin only because it's very safe in your mom condition. Regards Dr.vamsi Krishna Diabetologist APOLLO
