What Is Small Brown Black Things In Stool With Frequent Heartburn?

i have this dull lower pain in my right lower back above the hip and below the kidney. I've noticed little brown-black sesame seed shaped things in my stool. Can this be linked? I've been very gassy and been experiencing more frequent heart burn lately too.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
The pain in the right lower back with black things in the stool and gases can be correlated.
This can be due to inflammatory bowel disease causing infection, blood loss that turns out to be black spots in the stool.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Send the stool for tests on three consecutive days.
Also tests of blood.
Ultrasound of abdomen followed by a CT scan to see what the problem is like.
Colonoscopy and biopsy.
Clinical evaluation and examination, preferably by a General Surgeon.
All these things will lead to a proper diagnosis and gives the plan for management.
