My Dear

Welcome to Healthcaremagic!

I have reviewed your posting and will share my experience based upon dealing with this problem in good number of cases. It is normal for the area to feel hard for several days and it happens due to inflammation and collection of fluids in that area.If there is pain, analgesics like Ibuprofen will help. While on antibiotics, please do take some multivitamin preparations too so that balance of normal bacteria in the gut and elsewhere does not get skewed.

Rest assured, what you are experiencing happens in several cases post incision and drainage. Please continue antibiotics and the healing should not get disturbed. Best wishes
