Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The right fallopian tube is well defined and free intraperitoneal spill is noted. On delayed study, there appears to be some spill on the left side but the tube, itself, is not adequately visualised but there may be cross over spill from the right to the left.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The following things can be concluded based on the HSG report you have furnished. 1. Fallopian tube on the right side is well defined and also there is intraperitoneal spill. This suggests that there is no block in the Fallopian tube on the right side and the tube is found to be patent. 2. Although there is some amount of spill observed on the left side, the left Fallopian tube is not visualised properly. This suggests that Fallopian tube on the left side could be blocked and spillage seen could have been crossed over from the right side. It can be concluded that Fallopian tube on one side (right) is evidently patent. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
