Hello,
Thank you for the question and welcome to healthcare magic.
In order to help you out I would need to know the reason why this
ultrasound test was done? What were your complaints? Irregular period/inability to get pregnant? Based on this your further management would be determined.
Now as far as your ultrasound report goes, it show that you have normal size ,shape and location
uterus.
'Bilateral polycystic ovaries'means polycystic changes are seen in both side ovaries. Polycystic ovary is a condition which causes
hormone imbalance in body leading to weight gain, irregular menses and difficulty in getting pregnant.
'Beginning of focal
adenomyosis which cannot be ruled out' this means its suspected that you could have adenomyosis in certain area of uterus but needs further test to confirm.
Adenomyosis is a condition in which uterine lining is present inside a portion of uterine muscle. This can lead to pain during menses, problem in getting pregnant and maintaining
pregnancy.
Let know if any further questions, takecare!
