Hi I received test results today that had Immature granulocytes present in my blood with a level of 0.9%. Immature granulocytes abs level 0.07. Is this something to be concerned about? I have blood drawn about every two weeks and this is the first time it has shown up/
Immature granulocyte is type of WBC. It includes myelocyte and promyleocyte. High level of immature granulocyte suggest Bone marrow is fight against the infections. It is counted as total WBC count Normal value: 0.2-0.5 % Value > 2 % suggest active infections.
So your blood report is completely normal Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
