What Is Metrofin Medicine Taken For?

I am a court reporter and I have a woman talking about a prescription or possible vitamin called metrofin. I cannot find this medication anywhere online. She s also taking Lexapro and Clonidine. She has short-term memory issues and also has diabetes. Can you help me with what this medication is?

Hello,
Thank you for your query.
About laxapro,it contains escitalopram oxalate is an SSRI class which is mainly used to treat depression.
Clonidine is a sympatholytic drug that is used in high blood pressure and also in some other conditions.
About Metrofin my opinion is it is wrongly spelled as there is no medicine by such name. Most probably it is Metformin which is used to treat diabetes and also you said that woman is diabetic.
Hope this helps.
Thank you.
