What Is Lump Between Leg And Vagina That Explodes And Oozes White Pus?

This is really embarrassing, I have had abcesses before, and I'm sure that's what this is... I have a golf ball sized lump in the fold where my leg and the side of my vagina meet. It's extremely painful, and I can feel it, but my husband says he can't see it, so I'm assuming it's flesh colored. Last night at about 5 am it exploded and a nasty tan/white pus that smells like feces came out of it. A LOT of pus, I'd estimate between half a cup and a cup. It's still painful, it's still draining. I am taking antibiotics, but I don't know if I should go to the dr or not.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

Yes you should visit a surgeon for the proper and complete evacuation of the abscess, as it is still draining pus and not getting controlled by the antibiotics you are taking. So a pus culture will also be needed.

Don't delay as it may cause sepsis to you.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Verma
