What Is Difference Between Rashes And Septic Spots?

I have septic spots on my shoulders and chest it started on my legs 3inch long and 2inch wide on both legs some spots on my back now got septic ones on shoulder and chest ones on legs treated with anti fungal creams nearly gone but looks like scarring my doc said spots on back are just a rash but now ones on chest are septic ones I am getting pain in my sides

Hello,

As per your case history, you are having a fungal infection called tinea corporis. My treatment advice is -
1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole, and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
