What Is Causing Severe Headache In Lower Back Head?

I am having a headache that has lasted more than 6 days. It s located on the right side near the base of my skull. Can this be related to the implanon? None of the local doctors or even the er doctors seem to know. other symptoms include fatigue, blurred and double vision and extreme nausea. I have tried advil, the migraine cocktail, reglan, ice, and even peppermint. Nothing seems to help at all.

Thank you for choosing HCM

Yes, in some people headaches are caused by hormone imbalances or by contraception. In this case, you may want to consult your gynecologist and change the Implanon to using a Copper T which is just as effective.

If you want to continue using the Implanon, Here are a few things you can try:
Drink lots of water
Inhale steam mixed with Eucalyptus oil
Take Paracetamol 500 once when you feel that you will get a headache
Sleep well and at least 8 hours at a time
Eat meals at regular times

Hope this helps you
