What Is Air Getting Into Testicle During Surgery Called?

I had laparoscopic surgery on an inguinal hernia one year ago and it was fixed with mesh. The doctor told my wife that there was a complication and air got in my testicle. It was very bruised and very swollen. Ever since i have had pain in my testicle even though the swelling went down. Is there a name to that complication? I can t seem to find anything online about it.

It was very bruised and very swollen. Ever since i have had pain in my testicle even though the swelling went down. Is there a name to that complication? I can t seem to find anything online about it.

The surgical emphysema and the resultant surgical bruising caused the fibrosis with entrapment of the nerves in the scar tissue and this in turn can be the reason for the pains you are having.
