What Is A Soft Bump On Head Of An Infant Post A Fall Suggestive Of?
My 3 month old fell tonight and landed on the hard wood floor . He fell out of our babysitters daughters arms she was sitting in a normal height dining room chair , he hit the side of his head and now has a soft bump (size of a quarter ) on the right side of his head .. He ate good and went to sleep about 3 hours after it happened ... What should I do .. He s acting fine but I m worried ...

Due to the fall your baby had hematoma due to fall. If ihave to treat such a patient i will advice neosporoline cream locally, cefexime drops twice a day , to prevent infection, syrup peracetamol SOS for pain. If and when required
