What Is A Painful Bump At The Back Of The Head Indicative Of?

hi i have a painful marble sized bump on the back of my head above my hairline on the left side across from my ear. it hurts to tilt my head all the way back and to turn my head all the way left or right. I m super concerned. this just started yesterday and it hurts worse today. what could it be?

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, it may be swelling of lymph node and it need to be ruled out for the abscess till then it can be well managed with Tab Ibuprofen 200 mg three times in day, fever also need to be taken care if ever appears hope this information helps.
