Hello Doctor, although I know you are probably a wonderful doctor, I don't think I will get a wonderful answer. But for the sake of my poor brother whom is suffering, I will ask, ok, so this is the question..... My brother, Anthony, he is 42 years old, he does drink, he does party, but he never admits to what he parties with, like if it's drugs or not, but you can't play a player, so I'm assuming he is doing drugs, not sure what kind, and he has been complaining of a peice of large flesh hanging from his right nostril, and he is constantly pushing it back up, because if he doesn't push it back up it will be visible to others, so as I mentioned he is always pushing it back up. He swears he is dieing of cancer, thats what he says to us, he has lumps and bumps all over his body, especially his fore-arms, and he does have a few hernieas from heavy lifting, Because of the lack of no medical insurance we are always paying cash, and not getting good medical treatment. What do you think this piece of flesh hanging from his nostril could be, can it be cancer? Cancer does run in our family, my father died at the age of 48, from lung cancer, from smoking of course, but, thats not the same, the kinds of cancer that runs through the family is stomach cancer, but other than that, thats all I can think of, he does have hypertension, but he lost alot of weight, so his blood pressure is back to normal, and he also has extreme anxiety.
