General Surgeon 's  Response
HI.
This is a serious problem.
Water can not help this condition at all.
You must see an Urologist.
The Kidney has a part called pelvis, is funnel-shaped and it transmits urine from kidney to the ureter to be stored in the urinary bladder.
Due to the obstruction at the junction of pelvis to the ureter( cause has to be ascertain ) the back-flow and pressure in the pelvis has caused what you have.
When the major part of the pelvis is outside the kidney , it is called an extra-renal pelvis.
