Microvascular ischemic disease describes areas in the brain where tiny blood vessels have ruptured or clotted off causing limited blood flow in certain areas.
Yes it can cause high blood pressure as well as congnitive impairment causing depression and sometimes diabetes also.
Its advisable to continue other meds as prescribed.
