What Hormone Replacement Should A 56-year-old Expect?

I have been using Bi-Est cream for hormone replacement but my doctor says I have low estrogen. I have had a hysterectomy because of endometriosis and have an issue with bowel spasms. What hormone replacement can I use? I am 56 and have family history of heart problems

Hi,

You should also take calcium supplements along with estrogen hormones. As we age the risk of osteoporosis is more in females.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
