What Foods Increase Energy And Help Lose Weight?

I am 55 years old female who is 5'8" tall with a history of blood clots (3 episodes since 20 years of age) and high blood pressure under control with medication (since 40 years of age). Need to lose 70 pounds; walk 5 days a week for 30 minutes per day. Due to the issue of blood clots cannot eat green vegetable every day. Looking for foods that I can eat to increase energy and loosse weight.

Hi dear, hope you are good.
You have blood clot problem.Are you on warfarin? Which is medication for blood clot, then you need to avoid all green vegetables ,mustard greens,green tea,cranberry juice., alcohol and limit intake of salts. What you can eat are complex carbohydrates like whole cereal grains and multi grain cereals, beans, nuts, dal, chicken, fish, egg white,skimmed milk, fruits these foods guve you sufficient energy. And also consult nutritionist. Have large meal in breakfast, moderate meal in lunch and light meal in dinner ,that will boost your metabolism which help to lose your weightand total you need to have upto 1500 calories.Or also have 4-5 frequent meals and you can divide your calories in frequent meals. And you said you walk daily for 30 minute, keep it continue . If you follow what I mentioned it will help to reduce you weight.
