What Dosage Of Thyroxine Would Be The Same As 1mg Eltroxin?
My mother is on 1mg Eltroxin but we do not get Eltroxin in Australia. What dosage of Thyroxine would be the same as 1mg Eltroxin. I cannot take her to a doctor yet as I am waiting for our medical insurance to be activated and she has only 8 tablets left.

I appreciate your concern for your mother. There must be an error in your writing the dose. Your mother must be on 0.1mg (100ug) of Eltroxin. There would be other brand names of levothyroxine available in Australia like Eutroxsig by sigma. Please ask the local pharmacist and he/she would help you. The dose, irrespective of the brand, is 100ug (0.1mg).
