What Dosage Of Calcirol Sachet Should Be Taken For Painful Elbows Post Workouts?
Hi, I am working out in gym since 5 months. I am doing my cardio section for 1 hr 30 min and weight traing for 30 min. From last few days my elbow joint are paining after my workout. My instructor asked me to take calcirol sachet after workout once in a week. so I want to ask that, is one sachet/week sufficient or do I need to increase my dose..??
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Calcitriol sachets needs to be taken as 1 sachet per week for 6 weeks. This would help to replenish Vitamin D in the body. If your elbow pain is causes due to Vitamin D deficiency, then you should start feeling better by 3 weeks. If the pain is persistent, then it could be due to ligament or muscle sprain. It needs to be evaluated by an Orthopedician and then treated accordingly. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
