The lentiform nucleus is a very important part of the brain which contains concentration of nerve fibers. The lacunar infarct is small but may cause an observable damage which can take a few weeks to a couple of months for recovery. A lacunar infarct is less than 10 mm and complete recovery is seen in many patients. No particular dietary restrictions needed.
