What Does Yellow Discoloration On Fingertips Indicate?
my son is 17yrs old, recently we notice that his left finger tips are turning yellow. so i asked him to take notice to see if anything changes in anyway before we consult with a doctor. It has been two weeks now and there seems to be not changes. It is still yellow. What could it be?
Yellow finger tips could be indicative of jaundice or due to ingestion of some drugs.
Or it could be possible because of high Vitamin B doses which have a natural pigment that can cause urine turn yellow, also if this multi-vitamin has a high dose of Vitamin A it's natural pigment it's orange so mixed with the skin it a pale yellow.
If the discolouration persists for a longer time then he will need proper physical examination will be to rule out any other possibilities such as a liver problem like i said jaundice.
Consult your local doctor for further advice.
