What Does X-ray As Residual Fibrosis Suggest?

hi! good day i got my chest x-ray result last may 16,2014 it says IMPRESSION: RESIDUAL FIBROSIS, right upper lung field.. and they ask me to bring old x- ray film for comparison!
and i haven't my old x-ray film.
what is my first thing to do. medication or treatment what ever!

Thanks for writing in.

You have not mentioned if you had TB in the past and taken medications for it. Fibrosis is scarring in the lung and it is seen even after the disease is cured. If there is no change in findings in two chest X rays taken 6 months apart then the disease is said to be stable. It is important to know what symptoms you are now having and this needs to be discussed with your doctor with your X ray. If you had TB long bak and are free from symptoms then most likely you do not have any illness.
