Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You have got a very good observation.keep it up.your right knee joint is getting locked.most probably it is due to
meniscal injury in the knee joint.for an accurate diagnosis,a thorough clinical examination of the affected knee joint by an expert ortho doctor and some necessary investigations like x-ray are to be done.i can suggest you the following measures until you see the orthopedician :
1) Please avoid climbing stairs, squatting, running, strenuous exercises
2) If any excruciating pain occurs, tab.
Aceclofenac can be taken once daily for 3 days.as it may cause gastric irritation, tab.
Pantoprazole is recommended to be taken once daily 1 hr before food.
3) It is also advised not to attempt undue movements at the affected joint in order to unlock or repair.
4) Maximum rest to the affected joint solves the problem in about 60% of cases.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
