What Does Watery Yellow Mucus Stools Indicate?

Hi doc, I have hyperthyriod ( Graves Dx) since 2005. Pain under my lower right rib cage more that 2 years. I am always bloated, some constipated and my stool foul smelling. I m allergic to diary. But now i having watery yellow mucus stool with sometimes a whitish tissue looking thing in the stool. Can you tell me what s going on. SE

Your symptoms seem to be related to irritable bowel syndrome.

I would recommend doing a stool test and a complete blood count to exclude other possible causes.

Meanwhile, I recommend you to take daily probiotics.

I suggest avoiding food that can trigger symptoms such as spicy food or carbonated drinks.
