What Does Vaginal Introitus In A Pelvic Exam Mean?
What does Virginal Introitus mean on a pelvic gyne exam? It does not say vaginal introitus in my medical records, but Virginal Introitus. What does this mean and is the doctor under the impression that I m a virgin based on the exam or is it based on what I told him. Why might the doctor indicated Virginal Introitus for the pelvic gyne exam, prior to my myomectomy surgery?

The term introitus means an opening / mouth. Its as simple as that. It just means vaginal opening or vaginal mouth. Nothing to worry. Its just a medical term.
