What Does Ununited Ulnar Styloid Fracture With Additional Linear Opaque Density Mean?

hi, i have had the trapezium of both hands removed years ago (15?). i am 70 now. and had an xray because of pain and tingling in the left wrist/lower left arm. the chart says: ununited ulnar styloid fracture with additional linear opaque density, probably chondrocalcinosis. can you explain? i have requested an appointment (think they forgot to schedule it). will follow up tomorrow at utsw in dallas.

Once fractured, its common to see that the ulnar styloid process is not united and remains as un-united.
Most of the times it doesn't cause any symptoms.
But when it is symptomatic, intervention is needed.
The radio density mentioned in the report points out that there is chondrocalcinosis which means that the cartilage part neat the styloid process of ulna has calcified and its seen as a the post-fracture sequelae and it can also be seen in old age.
