What Does Tiny Red Spots On The Shins Indicate?

I have pin point red spots on the front of my shins. I went to the Dr today and he is checking my platelet count. I didn t ask what he was ruling out. Now I am home and thinking I should have asked more questions??? What do you think we are looking at?

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the multiple spots then doctor must be suspecting some blood disorders like ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic purpura) this is kind of routine test and no need to worry about this, hope this information helps, take care.
