What Does Tingling Sensation Around Stitches On The Eyebrows Indicate?

I got stitches above my eyebrow 2 days ago. I have kept it dry and just cleaned dried blood off with peroxide and saline solution. It is very tingly. Is it safe or okay to apply neosporin now and just let it stay exposed?? I teach kindergarten so i had planned to apply neosporin and loosely cover as not to scare the kids. Is that okay as well? Stitches are scheduled to be removed on Monday afternoon

Hello,

Neosporin ointment is very good. Put it because it will safeguard from infection. But keep the dressing loose because healing will be hampered.

Yes, it is better if you dress it. if you have some numbness then its due to nerve irritation and all will go after your stitches have been removed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Archana
