Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Good day doc! Based on the findings of my xray- Cervical spine AP/L it shows that Spur formation noted at endplates, sclerosis of the articular surfaces. Calcific density posterior soft tissue areas. Can you explain in laymans term the meaning of the result. it is curable?
There is minor age related wear and tear associated with a spur(spine like projection). It is not a serious condition and most cases very well managed by painkillers and exercises.
If you are experiencing severe pain, you can opt for steroid injection for better pain relief. Very rarely surgical correction may be required.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain
