What Does This Widal Test Report Signify?

Hi, Below is the report of WIDAL test done for my Mom today (Aged 49) SALMONELLA TYPHI O Positive Titre 1:80 SALMONELLA TYPHI H Positive Titre 1:40 SALMONELLA PARATYPHI A Negative SALMONELLA PARATYPHI B Negative What does this means ? Could you please explain in laymen terms and suggest the way forward

Hello dear
I understand your concern
SALMONELLA TYPHI O Positive Titre 1:80 has a clinical significance.
It may occur in the early stage of the typhoid infection.
In early stage of the typhoid fever, titre may be low around 1:180.
It may be increased in next week.
Take following advises:
Tablet azithromycin
Tablet paracetamol for fever
Proper rest
Maintain hydration by drinking lots of lukewarm water
Take home made fresh juice
Avoid outside food and water
Repeat the test after 1 week to show the response of treatment
