What Does This Urinalysis Report Mean?

Hi Doc. My 5yrs old daughter has this result in her urinalysis test: MICROSCOPIC RBC: TNTC WBC: 15-20/HPF Bacteria: Moderate Cast: RBC 3-5/LPF WBC 0-2/LPF RTE 1-4/LPF CHEMICAL TEST Sugar: Negative Albumin: 3+ MACROSCOPIC Color: Dark Yellow Specific Gravity: 1.030 Reaction: 6.0 Transparency: Tnrbid Can you please explain the result of this? Thanks a lot!

Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for your beloved daughter.

Following parameters are abnormal in her urine:

Microscopic Red blood cells (RBCs): Too numerous to count
White blood cells (WBCs): High
RBC cast: high
Albumin : Plus 3
Moderate bacteria and turbid urine

These finding are suggestive of infection of the kidney and need to be correlated with her clinical conditions.
So, a pediatric consultation is recommended for proper clinical examination and she may need additional lab tests like blood urea, serum creatinine, abdominal ultrasound, etc to confirm the diagnosis.
