What Does This Urinalysis Report Indicate?
Hi, Dr, my wife is 9th month pregnant and next week is her possible delivery but last time we had an urinalysis and she had a 10-15 PUS CELLS urinalysis result , our clinic advise her to take Cephalexin 3 times a day, I would like to ask if it will affect the baby or it will harm the baby? As per your history is concerned there is no harm to this drug to baby.Continue with it and finish the course as she has UTI and drink sufficient water and add Lactobacillus caps 3 times a day during antibiotic period .After complete of medication recheck urine once again whether any PUS cell is present or not.If PUS cell remains same or little lower do a culture of urine and take right antibiotics as per report.(Thanks)
