KUB ultrasound impression; Right renal pelvocaliectasis; rule out obstructing distral ureterolithiasis. Correlation with ct stongram or intraenous urogram is suggested. bilateral renal parenchym disease, based on echogenicity; correlate clinically sonographically normal urinary bladder
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. After going through the report of ultrasound scan of your renal system, the following things can be inferred: 1. There is presence of kidney stones in the right kidney. 2. There might be an obstruction of ureter due to stone impaction, which needs to be ruled out. 3. Urinary bladder is normal. 4. Both the kidneys shows parenchymal disease.
To confirm the exact site of obstruction and its impact due to stones, another investigation like intravenous urogram or CT sonogram has been advised, as these details could not be made out by ultrasound scan.
Hope the interpretation provided would be helpful. Wish you all the best.
