What Does This Ultrasound Report Of Abdomen Signify?

I have my ultra sound result it says: The liver is mildly enlarged showing increased echopattern. The intrahepatic ducts are not dilated. the gallbladder is normal in size showing multiple stones with aggregate measurement of 1.72 cm.. the gallbladder wall is not thickened. the CBD measures 0.35 cm. Impression: Mild hepatomegaly with fatty change cholelithiases. Please hepl me understand this findings. Is this a serious one. What should do.

Hi thanks for contacting HCM .

Do you have done your lipid profile ??

You might have high cholesterol level that can lead to fatty liver.means in liver fat accumulation is there.
With dieatry control it can be reverted within few months..

The gall stone can be because of pigment stone by hemolysis like cause or it can be cholesterol induce stone.
Usually gall stone remain asymptomatic.
If it lead complication and pain like symptoms then need to removed.

You have to cutt off oil in diet.

Fruits taken more.

Regular mild exercise done.

Avoid alcohol and smoking strictly.

If you develop jaundice consult doctor.
