What Does This Ultrasound Report Mean?

Hello! I am a 44 years old mother of three. I am not overweight. Due to slightly elevated LFTs, I attended to ultrasound. The result showed that there is diffusely coarse hepatic echotexture throughout the liver without defined mass or biliary tree obstruction. There is no lobulation in the hepatic outline. Live size within normal limits. Is this serious? Is this related to diet and/or exercise? I do not drink or smoke. Generally have been felling tiered over a few years. Thanks...

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
I read your query carefully.
As per ultrasound report, liver echotexture is defusely coarse means liver lost its normal smooth echotexture and your LFTs also raised. there is something wrong.
we have to rule out the cause.
For that you should go for tests like hepatitis B and C.
Is there any family history of Hepatitis??.
hope so it will be helpful.
You can write again for follow up along with test reports or for any query.
Wish you Good Health.
Regards
