What Does This Ultrasound Report Mean?

Had ultrasound on thyroid with findings right lobe 3.8x1.2 cm diffusely heterogeneous. Left lobe 2.9x1.4 cm heterogeneous. Impression small heterogeneous thyroid without focal nodule. Have been On synthroid for hypothyroidism for several years. What s these results mean?

The ultrasound report shows enlarged bilateral thyroid lobes. Hypothyroidism is the probable cause of enlarged thyroid glands.
